A great addition to your word work station! Get kids rolling and spelling their sight words with this freebie. Each roll of the die corresponds to a color. Have your kiddos write each word in a different color or write one word in several colors. When all the colors are used, kiddos read the word(s) 
for extra reinforcement.

Very cute and creative reading game for students to play with partners or independently. 

Directions: 
Students may play this game independently or with a partner. If playing in partners, print out 2 copies of the board you want students to work. That way each student in a pair has the same words. 

Player 1 rolls the dice first. He/she must read the words on in the row that corresponds with the number rolled. If read correctly, Player 1 may put a tally in the box beside that row. 

Play continues in this fashion with Player 2. 

The first player to have ten tallies beside a row of words 
on his/her game sheet is the winner! :o)

This sheet can be used for each vocabulary word in the student's personal dictionary. 

Suggestions:

• Punch holes in the document before handing out to students and have them keep track of their word meaning sheets with a 3 ring binder.
• Allow students to create their own decorative cover pages
  
• Allow students to draw or cut & paste images on a separate sheet of paper to accompany select vocabulary words.
